Storytelling often appears to be an experience that is seen and heard, but that’s not the full picture. Storytelling is an inside job. In this session, you’ll discover how storytelling affects the brain of both the speaker and the listener. We’ll explore the science behind how stories can trigger emotions, connection, and empathy and consider strategies for using those influences to encourage engagement and learning.
